A rebuild already? What happened? And where did you go to get a prebuilt kit? I thoughtthe only ones they had out were RTR

Hi
I rebuild the kit is because I want to put silicone grease in the diff I did not rebuild the whole car just some adjustment here and there. I got my kit from my LHS they only have those 80% build w/o engine.

Alright. What weight oil do you plan on runnig? And which engine? Any input will give me a jump on what I should be looking for when mine shows up. If your LHS actually had one in stock, I may have to make that trek out to the best stocked (albeit farthest) shop in the DC area is and find my parts.

Nitrohouse has the RTRs (both 1 and 2 speed) in stock. As far as parts compatability, I'm not sure just yet. I'll have to wait until I get it. I believe the suspension (especially the rear) was lifted from the OB4

The pro is not out yet, and as far as I know almost nothing is interchangable with the ntc3 except for maybe the spur gears, shaft, springs, and tires .

shortboy,
The shocks I understand. Not sure if the RTR has adjustable shocks on there now, but you could swap just about any shock with a bit of fitting. Why would you want the 2 speed from the TC3? The LD3 comes with one. Now for the Centax, I'm not even sure. With the price involved to be wrong, I'd wait until Ofna puts one out. Patience may pay off in this instance

Any of the metric centax clutches will work and Ofna also makes their own. You just need to make sure the clutch bell gears are the same range; but I think they are in general.

i wanna buy the ld3 rtr but the only one available on ebay is the single speed.it only costs 200,what a steal and i see a ntc3 2speed for 40.pretty cheap for an rtr with 2speed.im also considering running a centax,it should fit if the ntc3 2speed fits.the ld3 looks awsome!especially the chassis.anyone know where i could find a ld3 rtr w/2speed for cheap....like around 250-280?

www.nitrohouse.com they are the US distibutor of OFNA. I would buy the 2-speed kit because the aftermarket ofna 2-speed is ~$80. No way the NTC3 2speed will work because of the standard bearings, and the LD will use metric.
