The pipe is awesome. Works great with the Sirio, and Novarossi engines. The pipe has tons of power throughout the powerband. A bit thirsty though.

How about the Vantage Racing CF pipe for 1/10th touring? Anybody have any thoughts or experience with the Vantage pipes?

Does anybody have any thoughts or feelings on the Vantage Racing Carbon Fiber 1/10th onroad pipes? Is there anybody using this pipe for racing? Give us the skinny, if you have one or used one in the past. How did you like or dislike it, pros and cons.

Not to hijack the thread mate but i just recently got me a "novarossi 52606 pipe" which is the efra legal one, i use that with a LL3 novarossi engine and noticed its a better pipe combo for my medium sized track than using the mugen "bling" pipe.

I too would like to see some input from Vantage users! Getting tired of demolished pipes due to t-boning habbits of others.

The Vantage pipe match the SIRIO STI engine perfectly it runs really good with it, that is what we use with the Sirio STI

Carl I got those NovaRossi 2630 pipes if you want to check it out

I have a Mega ZX-12 Race w/ a dynamite pipe on it now. I have been thinking of replacing it with a Vantage. But there is or seems to be very little performance info on this pipe at all. Which may be telling us something.

I've seen and heard a lot of guys using the Vantage pipe like how their engine performs. For the price it's great, but just don't let it hang down too low otherwise...hehe you know the rest. I plan on getting one.

i currently use the vantage pipe along with many of my motors:

JP Racing Mugen X12
JP Racing FX12 T-03MT
JP Racing FX12 T-03M
Rody Roem V12
Mugen X12
Sirio T3 STI

The pipe works great with all, a very linear powerband with plenty of top end. doesnt ever make my motor hot and will never change tune in the middle of a race thanks to consistent exhaust. (never dents or dings. )

Although ive tried the EFRA 2630 pipe by Novarossi and LOVE it. awesome power, bottom, mid, top. everywhere. Power created by the pipe is AMAZING. But, only drawback is runtime. i lose run time significantly using this pipe. I'd use it for my mains.

The JP Racing 2620 is a little less on power, but run time is great. i recommend all 3 depending on what youre doing.

good luck!

I heard 2630 is good pipe but i don't know how compatible they are running with different engines, you could also try skyline vr12 plus pipe which what I used past weekend on the national. I've tried using this pipe on different engines with a great result and during national I ran my rex with this pipe and it really brings out low, mid and high rpm which what i just needed in semifinal. Some A main drivers were running this pipe as well on the national. Marc Cruz ran this pipe with STI with a TQ result in Vegas GP. For the price, you can't go wrong with the vr12plus and for performance wise, you're getting alot more what you're paying for.

I just received a Novarossi 2630 pipe and have noticed that the
inlet to the pipe is a smaller diameter than my mugen and max/nova pipe.
2630 fits loosely into my mugen and max/nova header.
Do I need a different header or is it supposed to be loose?

Thanks
