Default Eagle CDC v6.0 charger

Hi, does anyone of you guys use this charger?

http://rc-mushroom.com/product_info....roducts_id=732

If you do would u explain to me what the function "Adjustable Volt Threshold" is for? The charger itself is not as difficult to use as i i first thought it would be but this volt threshold thing has got me rather stumped.

Thanks.

I think what you are refering to is Delta Peak value, from what i understand your battery's will increase in voltage as you charge and then decrease as they peak out , the settings in the charger are in 0.3 milivolt per cell the higher the value the more you will cook your packs !! I generally run at 0.3 for all my NIMH packs .
I have run up to 0.5 on some older packs that were false peaking.
I am mainly charging reciever packs so there is bound to be better settings for race packs

Cheers

Again thanks for the replies. I ve just gone and lowered the volt threshhold figure to 3mv to be safe, now one last thing is "discharge rate" i know what to charge my batteries on but clueless about discharge voltages, any help on discharging 1. 8Cell 1650mah TX pack and 2. 6Cell 1500mah 7.2v pack?

Thanks.

i wouldnt discharge any higher than 1 amp. i dont think TX batteries were made for high amp drain purposes. same goes with the RX pack. the cdc was more designed for electric racers. very good charger as well.
