Default Brakes?

Is it typically better or worse to dial in some brakes on a nitro touring car, i.e., with no throttle, the car will gradually come to a stop vs coasting?

It depends entirely on the size of your track. Our track here is small and very technical. If I use Rubber tires and Front diff, I use brakes on the straight and brakes on the technical part if im pushin my car. If i use foam tires and front one way, i hardly brake.

i've found that it's better and easier to drive my car with the brakes set to only engage when i apply the brakes
when the brakes are rubbing when you back off the throttle it makes the car hard to maintain corner speed in some cases that you need to
