Default XRAY NITRO 1/18

Hello i just have some friends getting these and i was wondering what do you all think about these? I wanna Nitro sometime and i don't wanna deal with all the cost of the 1/10 scale and i was wanting to know what the reviews was like and some actual feedback on people that own these. Are they easy to run and do they hold up plus what kind of Nitro Gas do you run in them. Do they make replacement parts for them? Thanks Aaron

I have had one for about 3 months and it is a lot of fun but I just dont use it that often. You cant just run it anywhere because of the extremely low ride height, it needs a really smooth surface. The overall quality is typical xray standard. Everything fits perfectly and is completly adjustable. I start mine with the Hudy micro starter box and it starts right away with no hassel.
The only complaint is the Ferrari body included with kit fits poorly, I replaced with proline Mazda 6 body and it fits perfect. Like I said, it dosn't get that much use, but hopefully people might start racing them. It is a very cool toy and I would reccomend it if you have lots of smooth parking lots or race track access. 20% fuel.
contact me if you have any particular questions.

We will be racing them soon, in NW Indiana. We raced on a tennis court a couple times last year & can come back. I have one of the little Xrays as do a few of my friends.

Let me know when you plan on doing that. I would love to come out and race. Do you know if that McCallister late model body you were running on the electric xray is a good fit for the NT18? Thanks
