Exclamation 705 vs GT4s

What dose you LHS support??

If they support both....its a no brainer, SERPENT 705!!

Unless, you are a budget racer go with the cheaper Yok GT4s.

Exactly.

If you have bucks - go Serpent.
If you don't have as much bucks - go Yok.

And if you have mega bucks buy both and figure out which one you like best.

I have the Yokomo but I have the Serpent coming in February. I will be running both this year. The Yok will be used for club racing in the standard class and the Serpent will be used for outlaw racing and International events (European Champs, Paris Memorial, and the Irish and BRCA National Championships)

dont forget the mtx-3.....everysingle person i have spoken to that owns one says its the best purchase theyve ever made. mine practically drives itself with box setup!!! its really an amazing car, and the 705 is pretty much cosmetic changes rather than a changed design.......it does include nice stuff, but everything it has, the mtx-3 has but lower and parts are easier to get also, its about the same pricealso! truly an amzing piece of machinery!

with the apparent dominance of the mtx-3 here, i reckon it will become a spec chassis class... either you have an mtx-3 or you dont!

besides that get the yoke!

to quote someone.... "serpent your too old its over" (and yes i know the 705 is 'brand new' but as someone else said cosmetic changes - you cant teach an old dog new tricks!)

Very true Contact but then again Serpent actually changed their car whereas Yokomo are left on the top shelf with the same car they have had for 3 years now.

The only car that has improved in quantum leaps is the Mugen. But like was shown at the worlds, you dont need the best car to win. Just a bit of luck and a drop of kill the cars magic lotion. lol

Compare parts costs and you'll see that the Yok is MUCH cheaper (less expensive, not cheap as in crummy).

But then again Serpent parts are built tougher and stronger (this coming from a GT4 owner.)

In my area, Serpent parts are a little harder to get.

I would just get the one where you can get parts for quick and easily.
