HOW TO DIY GLOW IGNITOR TO SB?
how to connect your glow ignitor to your SB?
i know you can buy the glow ignitor that already comes with a long wire and a clip to clip to you SB batteries.... but i want to connect my current GI to my SB.... how to DIY?
any web link?
one more question:
my SB uses 2 battery pack.... each is 1800mah.... so i have 3600Mah... can i connect it to GI and use it for my glow plug? is the Mah too big for a glow plug?

If your thinking of connecting your igniter directly to the batteries without a power panel, don't do it. You will blow the glow plug immediately. each battery pack is 7.2 volts and a glow plug is designed to light at 1.2 to 1.6 volts (approximately). You need to have a power panel to drop the voltage to these usable levels.

Heres a pic of a power panel. This one is attached to my OFNA starter box. As far as connection it, thats not too tough, even if you buy one seperate from you starter box. There is bascially a red and black wire coming from the panel that you need to wire into the battery's power. The panel itself takes care of reducing the voltage to proper levels. It also lets you vary the output of the glow igniter. No recharging an igniter, or worst losing one. This is by far the best glow igniting system.
