Default Kawahara Foam tyres

Can some one please tell me what the A, B, and BA stand for?

Thank you

Hi,
These letters refer to the offset of the wheel. "A" equates to 0 degree, "B" equates to 2 degree offset, and I believe that "BA" is the new 1 degree offset wheel.
Hope this helps.

I dont think that is totally correct. I think it actually refers to the rim design, but it MAY also refer to offset. I use the A design rims cause I like the look of them. There is nothing on the box to suggest that the offset is different between the different rim designs, but there may be!

Sorry, you are probably correct. The information I provided was directly from one of the previous Australian distributors.

Quote:
The A rims are the 0mm off set and B rims are the 2mm off set like wheel supplied with the MTX3 and MTX4 from GRP.

You are right. "BA" is 1 degree offset. Not sure with "A". So far I only see ZB & ZBA. I just got 10 boxes of set box (2 pairs front & 3 pairs rear) for myself and they all are ZBA for MTX-4.

I asked the question to R/C Champ, check it out below:

I am having problems understanding Kawahara wheel tyres:
a) Why is there tyre A and tyre B? What is difference for A and B?
The difference is,wheels design and its offset,Kawahara said A is 0 offset and B is +1 offset.
b) Why is there a tyre BA? What is difference?
BA is same design as B wheel but is same offset as A wheels.

AB and B are the same style of rim.

The diffence between a and ab is the style of the rim.
The difference between ab and b is the offset.
