Yes that engine will work well with either INS box.

Default NOOOOOB???????

Hello Mugen guru's, I'm new to the 1/8 onroad and I have a question. Which screws in the mrx4's 2speed do you adjust to change the shift point? Is it the center set screws which move the metal ball, or the outer 2 bolts with the springs? Also do you have to adjust both sides each time you adjust the shift point? I couldn't seem to find the answer to this question.

Thanks in advance

The two screws with the springs are the ones that adjust the shift point. Yes you should adjust both equally. The two that sit above the balls are used to adjust how smooth the transition is from first to second. I set those screws so that the shoes are as close as possible to the two speed housing with out dragging. This provides a very smooth predictable shift that will not shock the drive belts and pulleys or the contact patch of the tires. Down side this it does cause some slippage. So when it's time for new two speed shoes it's time for a new two speed housing.

Thanks man for the help, this is the only thing that I havn't had to mess with since I bought the car. It has always work/shifted perfect for my taste until the shaft started to get stuck between the shoes, causing the car not to shift and also making the second gear wabble.

Thanks,

Run the box setup. That's what I'm running at the Bowl. 35's fr/Rr. What body are you going to run?

Those are body stiffiners. You cut them in strips. they look like plastic L-brackets. You mount them from the side of the body to the top. It gives the body more rigidity when traveling at speeds.
