Default Clutches

Hey guys, Are the various centax clutches unique to their respective models? i.e. will an Evolva clutch work on a MRX4 or Serpent and vice versa?

Shorten the wheelbase.

Soften the front stabilizer.

I know the Centax clutch is used on Mugens, the flywheel will not be in the center of the hole in the chassisplate but it works. Just use a Mugen clutchbell and endmounting for a complete fit

I believe the Kyosho clutch is more on size to fit the Mugen.

The Motonica clutch is compleetly the same as the Mugen (even the gearbox)

Ride height

So I have made the quantum leap from MTX to MRX; I am amazed by the difference in chassis tunability. Even though I have many questions, I'll try to take up as little thread space as possible. Question: What is the best way to set ride ride height?

Thanks. I'll just pass up a deal on some Kyosho parts and run the Mugen parts.

More caster.

BTW, Steering response depends on how stiff the front springs and the shock mounting position. You should be fine to try softer setting for front stabiliser.

Not being a RC pervert actually I don't have a perfect answer for him ......

I think it depends on how big, how long, and how fast he is driving into that corner. If his track is technical track ( smaller corner radius ) then using less caster is better approach.

If his track is wide open ( big corner radius ) more caster will be better.
