I like to give a big up to RC THUNDER HOBBIES for hooking me up with my Mrx-4r. Now to find the beast a engine.

Hi

When rear tyres cone after a race meet, do you true them straight or leave them as.
Outer diameter is 75m and inner is 72mm.
This the first time I have run a 1/8.

Thanks

leave them the way they are, they will wear naturally.
when rear diameter (outer part of wheel) is at about 70 mm, the wheel has done its time.
if your just havin fun in a parking lot, let em wear to the bone, you will know when they are no good by the lack of traction.

With that being said, you can tune your clutch to get good results with both engines at different tracks, but I think each work better in different situations. When I am on a fast flowing layout, I love my Ninja because I can keep the momentum and revs up. However, if I am on a tight track with alot of slow corners, you always want that torque to pull you out of the corners. It is nice though to have an option that is less than 400.00 that can be very competitive. Being honest, I am still waiting for a motor that beats the Nova motors overall. Meaning, if the Ninja and a Nova (JP/+35/etc.) were priced the same...would racers buy a Ninja over the Nova. That is the 1,000,000.00 question???? Novarossi makes good sh!t, without question. I am anxiously waiting for someone to knock them off the throne. I think the Ninja is very close, and maybe the new version that is coming will be the blow that does.
thanx 4 da info guys.will get a ninja in few weeks.got the Collari 4 a fab price.wont use it yet.my JP R01 stock is still very tite.it still locks up.the response and info from this forum is off da wall.cheers guys

You want the chassis to naturally wear 1 deg. of negative camber into the rear tires. At 70mm outer diameter the roll out chart "flips" meaning that going up one tooth on each pinion with the 70's will provide the same roll out as it had at 76mm. The life span of your con rod is directly connected to the roll out chart. Small tires less side bite but more responsive.

The Ninja's are getting scarce because everyone is scooping them up They know a good thing when they see it!! I had a hard time finding some, but when I did- I got three

Try Brooklyn Hobbies- I think he has some in now.

Hi

I ran my MRX-R for the first time on the weekend, car handles very well, all went well apart from a mangled thrust bearing and clutch shoe.
I had by clutch set as per book, what happened?.
I have been racing 1/10 for years and have never stuffed a thrust bearing or shoe.
Any advice for me please??
Thanks
