The cap does not assist in pressurizing the tank. Being the highest point of the tank makes it the best place for the air pressure it enter. The more pressure you can build up outside the tank, equals better fuel flow, less bubbles and helps against stalling in the pits during refueling.

Without the pressure chamber, you will need over 10 inches, more like 12 plus between the tank and pipe to get the same pressure as the chamber. Sorry, I don't have any pics.

I'm using the Acer Racing bearings. They're awesome and last a long time.

Copied from Novarossi thread. Any info abt. that?

Hi there!

At Nürnberg toy fair Novarossi showed a 359.21 on road engine for 1/8th scale.
I could'nt find any info on the web. A friend told me that this will be the new top of the range engine with a so called "compressor" crankshaft. As I plan to buy the 35+21 Collari I would like to have all facts about the new mill.
Anybody?

Thanks in advance

the 35plus21 is a strong motor for the price,i noticed many racers last year were using it,lots of bottom and top end,as far as fuel mileage,i dunno, i guess that depends on the set-up of the car(clutch and gears).
im running the JP Fx engines and im very happy with them, but some would argue that price is a factor, yes they are more expensive than the average motor, but i believe you get what you pay for.
if i had a small budget, then i would rather buy a used Novarossi or JP rather than going with a cheaper , less reliable, new motor.
ask around at your races, some guys like to sell motors after only a couple of uses and they still have lots of life in them.
you never know what you might find.

Thanks for the info Sohlman. Are you still running the new THS hardcoated pipes or dropped em? I may stop by Tonys this weekend or so for some stuff.

Did you check the EFRA Web site?

The 9886 pipe (btw: thats the efra number) is a 2 chamber pipe so it depends on the rules your club or the event you want to race in whether its legal or not. Most rules these days only allow 3 chamber pipes.

Default clutch

what do u mugen-drivers think of the stock clutch set-up?iwant 2 get a wicked launch off the line without causing excessive clutch-shoe wear.im using yellow shoe with hard spring(not worlds 1) with pretty much std clutch gap.
please advise
