If you are asking for input, someone has to have one to test. Send one to me, I'll let you know what I think.

I own one. And is modified by MAXY. The Engine has lot of power, it competes easy with Nova Megas, OS TZ, and RB you name it. The only one problem that I encounter was the stock AXE Rossi Carburetor. It was very difficult to set up; it was so darn difficult that I couldn’t make the darn engine to run. So I changed and used a Rossi Pixy carburetor and problem solved. The engine is all good except the Carburetor and Parts. You just tell me when you going to distribute, because I need a conrod to change soon. Hope this info help you. Thanks for the updates.

our australian importer has been using the axe rossi engine in his car with some success and just recieved a rb mods version which is claimed by rbmods to have the same power as the stock engine at HALF THROTTLE!
if it performs as well as expected its going to be a hell of a goer!!

Have a AXE .21 Black Magic and a .21 Cobra.
Cobra new in the box and BM has been used since last year October and has yet to give me hassles.
Have replaced front bearings a few times and am finally replacing main bearing and rod after +- 22 liters of fuel and the engine still has good pinch.
I only use Axe plugs as they have been more durable and consistant than mega and OS plugs I used before.
Have been contemplating getting a 173R12 X3 ,the 3 port .12 for my G4S.
Am waiting for a reponse on availability at the moment.
I have yet to have a negative experience with a AXE product as also sell engines ,mostly for 1/8 buggy racing.

Are you saying "THE" Axe Rossi importer? Or another?

Speaking on their previous stuff, we run a bunch of Rossi Maranello .21's (145R21 I believe), and they kick *ss. I have a NIB as yet unfired, but Maxy modded, and one of the other guys I run with has about 2-3 Maranello's as well. One is RB modified, and Rick Brake is REALLY good with these.

I have one of the older Axe Rossi LS1 onroad engine. It was a poor performer for onroad use but had it modded by Powerhouse. I just want to know will the new line engines(21's) have an angled exhaust port that only a Axe Rossi header will fit.

The newer motors all have the straight manifold unlike the earlier Marinello/BlackMagic.
The new onroad .21 is the Cobra X1 Evolution but dont know how it compares to any other brands out there.
Axe seems to be a lot more popular for offroad.
