Default Do you use the body stiffeners?

Hey everyone, I was just wandering how many people use the body stiffeners that come with the bodies? If so, how are you mounting them, with rivets or bolts? Thanks in advance for the info!

best is to use rivets. they are cheap and easy.

I always recommend using them, because it'll help keep the body off the tires and off the chassis (getting wedged on the exhaust, etc)
Some bodies can "flare out" too if you don't use them, which can affect your aerodynamics as well.

I use them, but I make the lower body flare out. There's an article on the Serpent website that says that the can am bodies are better aerodynamically with the wider rear end.

These are bullet proof and reuseable many times over for all of about $10

Try any automotive trim/paint type finishing spot or Stealerships.

Suitable pushlock/unscrew to remove ones are used all over to hold plastic panels/grilles and covers etc. Small and button head types etc.

Perhaps breaker/scrap yards?
