Hello, I don't know if you remember thiis post:

http://www.rctech.net/forum/showthread.php?t=28317

It was about a new 1/10 touring prototype. Now DPC is back again with a conversion of a MTX4 into 235mm category.

The result, called by DPC as mugen "MVX4" is here:

More info:

http://www.cochesrc.com/article1309.html

This prototype has run the last two spanish championship rounds, and his driver Isidro has won both of them. All the rest of the cars were serpent 835.

Soon more info abou this car...

The prototype looks neat. Too bad 235mm is dead in where I live.

This is great - just what we need to get more people interested.

235mm is not growing because people see it a a one make class ( Serpent )

This means that for all of those who have manufacturer deals or shop deals for discounted parts - they can not run a serpent.

Lets hope the design gets noticed by the right people and produced.

Hmm, it'd be great if they did this for most of the sedans then 235mm will be back.

What happened to the Serpent 835 Porsche Cup car? That would have been fun.

It might be better if 235 started back up as a single supplier class. That would avoid the car of the week scenario you see in TC and 1/8.

In the UK - Most 235 drivers have started using the Porsche GT1 or Mclaren GT1 shells. It has become a GT class and differentiates itself from the 200mm touring and the 1/8th LOLA classes.

Looks great to see a full heat of Porsche GT1 cars screaming round.
