Ah!! This explains why I'm unable to reach Dennis on the phone. U.S. cell phones companies seem to have a invisible wall around the border, that keeps cell phone signals from passing over the border. Guess its perfect cell tower placement.

Have fun Team Magic and good luck!!!

Unhappy Can't make it to GasNats

Hi guys,

Due to plans falling through, we won't be able to make it to this year's Gas Nats... but we still plan to be there for the CanAm!

Hoping you all have a good time.

The Buick is packed and the Monkey is loaded in it's cage. What time does qualifing start on Sat.?

Looking forward to pitting for Raye and splitting a gut with some new adventures. I want to see Chuck put it our there in the BIG rocks.

Now all I have to do is get across the bridge.

getting into Canada will take about 5 seconds It's the getting out....... back across the US border that could be the fun part.

The last time I passed back through the guy was more interested in the R/C car racing than what his job was.

Our NITRO PARTY Canadian Nationals was FUN! That was the Goal and I believe our Club pulled it off.

I was really impressed how everyone worked together to accomplish a great weekend. Especially with some computer issues.

Hugh Lawson was AMAZING on the Mike. Hugh you helped make the weekend.

Julie - we all appreciate you cooking for a bunch of Toy Car Racers all weekend long. Thank YOU!

Great Qualifiers, lots of co-operation. (Corey - sorry I ambushed you in qualifier 3 )

Around 80 entries.

I believe the Biggest Hit of the weekend for Spectators was the 5th Scale Main. These guys worked all weekend to make their cars work on our Track which is specifically designed for Foam Tires. It is a real challenge to get a 2 wheel drive car with Rubber Tires to find Traction, I know, I had a 5th Scale. These guys didn't give up which resulted in a very entertaining 30 Minute Main. Congratulations to Hugh and taking the Win. Also all the 5th Scale Racers did a Great Job of Driving, it was rare to see any of them touch a board.

Ontario 1/8 On Road Racing Club Members - I'm enthused and proud to be a member of this Great Club - We have FUN!

Special Thanks to our amazing Club Leader - GARY SWAYZE - he puts his Heart Soul and Wallet into our Club as well a RC Racing.

I've got some work to do to update the Best Laps, Best Qualifier Sheets. I'll get these updates posted some time during the week.

See you at Club Race #4 in July.

Our next BIG RACE - the 3rd ANNUAL CAN AM CHALLENGE

Our next Club race is Saturday, July 15. The hard working track crew will be continuing with track improvements. Look forward to a double wall barrier from turn 10 to turn 11 and out past turn 11 on the main straight. This will eliminate those impact related barrier separations that we experienced last weekend. I expect that we'll have these complete in advance of July 15. A track work party has been scheduled for the evening of Tuesday, July 11 at 6:00pm.
