5th Scale

2. Ray Ramnath ~ 41 Laps
3. Dino Delanos ~ 20 Laps

We had a great day of racing with no rain related delays. A lower than normal turnout but typical for this time of the year. Thanks to those who helped setup and to those who stuck around and helped with putting the show back into the shipping container. It was a very warm day. I came with 4 half litre bottles of water. Mike Burr gave me 4 more bottles late in the afternoon and that still wasn't enough hydration. Thanks again Mike. Perhaps we need a big refrigerated Coke or Pepsi machine full of cold water. Hmm, does anyone know someone in the beverage business?

All of the race data may be viewed at JLaps. Just select the maple leaf icon, then our Club link:

See you all at the GLC or on August 18 for Club Race No. 6.

Thanks, Gary

The Ontario 1/8 2007 Charity Race is on schedule for Saturday, September 8 and Sunday, September 9. We will be donating the proceeds of this race to the Canadian Cancer Society, Hamilton Chapter. The track will be setup on Saturday morning with lots of practice time and 2-3 Qualifiers depending upon turnout and weather. 1-2 qualifiers and Mains will be run on Sunday. This will be a fun race with a great cause. If you're unable to make the ROAR On Road Fuel Nationals, you should consider attending this race.

The race was a lot of fun last year. I'm going to try and at least make it on Sunday.... possibly Saturday with some other things factored in there.

We'll be running 1-2 qualifiers on Sunday of the Charity Race. Please feel free to register Sunday morning if you're unable to make it on Saturday.

Anyone not attending the nats and looking for a place to race, we are holding a 2 day Charity race in Hamilton Ontario Sept 8-9. All proceeds will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society. We also will have a raffle and the Famous "Agnes " will be out to sell tickets and these proceed will also be donated. So please give generously as we have way too many fellow racers battling cancer.
