1 suggestion, maybe run the A mains only 20 minutes, and B mains 15 etc. etc.
when i came off the stand after a half an hour, both my hands and feet were numb. and my touring car was on the chassis. i started with 6mm ride height, and ran 42's in the rear, and 4o's in the frt. some tracks have really high tire wear to run 1/2 hour mains. just my 2 cents.

but all in all, i had a great year, cant wait for next year.

So guys,

I know many of us would like to race at the New St. Louis track next year. What do you guys think about having a combined Midwest Series - Heart of America to end our local racing season next year? Probably in late Sept. - early Oct. We should be able to get 80 to 100 cars for this event.

Just something to ponder.

Sounds good to me. While we are at it, how about moving the Chicago race to Leisure Hours? It's slated to be seal-coated and painted in the spring.

Ted, what do we do about scoring, in the 'combined' event? Not against it, just wondering..

F1 Series could be an option. But I heard the new F1 car will have rubber tires only and that they will not work on VHT or sugar water treated tracks. I'm not sure who said that or how true it is. Comments?

Mark, you commented on the F-1, but not about what Hammer said. What do you think about racing in St. Louis in general?

A lot of thoughts are going on right now about the MWS 2007 program. If you have pre-registered for any 2006 MWS race last year and that email address is still valid you will be receiving an email that will be asking for some input on locations and racing programs. If you are not sure that I have your current email please send it to me at [email protected]

A Heart of America/Midwest Race at St. Louis sounds like a great idea. I am sure we could get most of the guys from around here to come on down for that.
