I see Brian has posted the race report on www.midwestseries.com web site. Check it out and pre-register for the last race of the year in Detroit while you're at it.
Be sure and come to this race to receive your year end award. There are still 68 racers in the running for the 47 trophies to be awarded.
Hope to see everyone their.

WOW.....I read an email joke a few days ago which had the orignal people in this picture from a company lunch. It was labeled as "Only one cup per person, bring you own". Now that someone has a great photoshop skills, this is just too funny. Nice work whoever made this one (kidDynomite)!

Well it’s coming down to the last race of the 2006 MWS season. I hope everyone can make the Detroit race at the Emagine Theater September 16th-17th. Bryan Young will be running timing and scoring for the Detroit club, and we all know what a great job he does. Brian Berry has stepped up and will be helping the Detroit club organize the event. We have 47 year-end trophies to hand out and 68 racers still have a chance to secure one. Please go to www.midwestseries.com and pre-register.
Hope to see everyone their.

Hey guys, sorry to say that i will not be able to make the last race of the year.My club is hosting a charity race on the 17th, and im working afternoon shift on the friday, so it makes it hard to get down to Detroit and back early enough for work on monday morning.
Next season i will try and adjust my schedule so that i can make all of the mid-west races, they are very well organized and i have a great time racing and hanging out with you guys.
Have fun in Detroit!

I hope everyone has a good time this weekend! I'm still in Korea, but I spoke to Kevan Today and everything's in place for the Season Finale. I just want to say thanks to those in advance for stepping up to help out. Especially Kevan Bowers for his patience, and Brian and Dave Berry for the positive attitude, and Lou P for going out to take care of blowing off the lot one week ahead of the event.

lol, it was actually good for me, it ran out just before my race, the A touring, my car was bad, so it gave me a minute to adjust my rear blade. i had no rear traction in the main.
1 suggestion, maybe run the A mains only 20 minutes, and B mains 15 etc. etc.
when i came off the stand after a half an hour, both my hands and feet were numb. and my touring car was on the chassis. i started with 6mm ride height, and ran 42's in the rear, and 4o's in the frt. some tracks have really high tire wear to run 1/2 hour mains. just my 2 cents.

but all in all, i had a great year, cant wait for next year.

The midwest series runs 30 minute mains so everyone can enjoy the same amount of track time during the event. This also allows the points to stack up based on how many laps you finish, no matter what main you are in. This appeals not only for the experienced racers but also the beginners.

Like Tom said! 1/2 hour is great! Equal time for all mains is a must for points system. Plus (points system asside), why give A-main more track time? I never understood that. Same entry fee-Same track time! That's one of the things the MWS does that appeals to so many.
