I'm trying to pick up a rrr evo WC team (31260b) and found this place to be the lowest priced....

http://www.hobbymagiconline.com/id16.html

Does anybody know where I can get one cheaper?

Some people have experiences that the stock brake lever can bend and cause stripping of the gear on RRR (not evo). I have seen this too. Was wondering if the Evo has the same problem. I gues it should as the ultimate forces are applied the same way right?

RRR dont really easy strip gear. And if stripped, its either the engine mashing are not correct placing or the screw are not tight eough to prevent the mounting to be moved.
We all are are using stock lever and are perfectly alright about it.
ANd if your level touches the Spur gear, slightly bend the lever up-ward off the spur and you are safe.

hope this help

Honestly, I haven't striped my spur gear since I started using the V-One RRR WCE and the V-One RRR Evo. All you need to do is to check the screw tightness everytime you run at the tracks. Also check the gear meshing... If the pinion gears are worn out, just replace them with the steel ones. These are really tough...

i haven't had pinion problems yet but heard that rrr has ssues with soft pinions that can be damged over the course of a weekend racing. Also the hardened ones are heavier. Ayy thoughs on compormise of durability to weight.
