I've never run the EVO2 and just started using the EVO3, so I would not know. Quite a number of people I know at RCTech highly recommended the EVO3 STI and that's why I decided to get it. I ran a few tanks (rich) through it this weekend and I really like it so far.

You will find that there never was an EVO 2 STI. The STI started with the EVO 3.

Hi Doki Doki,

Can you please provide some feedback on the performance of the K-Factory chassis when you get around to testing it? I am very intereted to get another opionion on it.

I used this chassis on both my RRR's and found it tweaked or developed a "belly" very easily. After a few races I would put a straight edge on the bottom and notice the space.

I have gone back to the original chassis and found it keeps straight at all times.

Let me know.

Thanks!

IMO, the Kyosho Special Main 3T/7075 Chassis (VZW214) is the best chassis to get for the RRR. It's incredibly durable and quite a number of people have stated that it improves the car's handling. I have it on both of my RRRs and I'm very happy with it.

How do you fit your pack on this chassis? The image don't show the hole for battery tray like standard chassi

This chassis is exceptional on high bite tracks...if the bite is low...it will be a little more challenging to dial your car in...

Thanks for the tip!

What improvements exactly do you find?

Car is more stable?

Turns in better?

With this chassis, you do not remove the battery. Once you servo tape it down and wrap tape around it, it stays there. There are slits on both side of where the battery compartment would be, to slip in the tape.

Default LRP .12 Team Spec 3

I am looking for my first .12 3 port motor for my kit that will be in Friday.

I need servos, motor, header and pipe. I have heard about the TZ, Sirio and LRP.... I dont really want to spend 500.00 on a motor. This will be my first Nitro car. I am an old electric 1/10 4wd racer getting back into the hobby. I want to be competitive thats why I chose the RRR Evo.... Thats what most of the guys here run.

I am looking for a good motor that is easy to tune, fast and simple. If you guys can also tell me what hop ups or additional parts might be helpful since I couldnt find the EVO WC.. only the EVO.

Thanks
