Hope this helps.

Dom thank you...now the one in the middle is the one they call blue?
blue...correct.....and this is the one that comes in the kit..correct...

Its funny because light blue looks like the one that comes with the kit..

I've tried it ( had it since Ifmar 200mm worlds) - it's very good, but the settings are very critical.

The 2d clutch makes the car both easier to drive due to the way it engages and quicker due to how hard it engages ( does that make sense?)

You can feel the point where the clutch engages a lot better with the 2d clutch, this allows you to be smoother and not have to blip the throttle out of every turn .

HTH!

Default V1RRR-Evo

Just installed my Kawahara front shock tower. It's thicker than the stock towers. Also, it has a groove that fits perfectly on the area where you mount the towers

Default V1RRR Evo

The Kawahara rear shock tower is very thick compared to the stock Kyosho rear shock tower. I guess this rear tower upgrade will last a lifetime Also, it only has 5 shock positions to choose from compared to the 6 shock positions of the stock

I also changed my Kyosho aluminum wheel hubs to the Kawahara wide aluminum wheels hubs It is much easier to work with this wheel hubs since it has a set screw to clamp it down to the drive pin as compared to Kyosho ones that you have to work you way around the o-ring which holds the drive pin

The 3D Clutch comes standard with the RRR.

This is what is being said about the new 2d Clutch (part # VZW222):

Quote:
The Kyosho 2D Racing Clutch is specially developed for IFMAR World Championship competition and modern, high revving racing engines. This clutch has a special combination of features that produce very strong acceleration and consistent performance desired by the top racers in the world. A new nickel-plated lightweight flywheel has a smooth, polished surface that allows the clutch flyweights to move smoothly and consistently. The red clutch shoe is the same high-grip material used in the 1:8 Evolva, which provides strong engagement with less slip, which reduces heat to provide consistent performance from start to finish. The clutch kit includes everything you need for installation - simply swap the pinion gears from your standard clutch and you're ready to race!
4D Clutch....1/8th scale?
