So now it is an EVO almost WC. In the rear I have upgraded the dogbones with the VSW007 CVDs, in order to be able to use 0 offset tires.
However, with the new bulkheads of the EVO, we have more options where to mount the rear camber link.
If I mount it to the upper and outer hole then the camber link seems to long to achieve camber more than 2 with maximum 200mm rear width.
I have thought 2 options, either I replace the VSW015 with the VSW015 and I still use 0mm offset wheels and I unscrew the pillow balls to achieve the width and the camber or I shorten the VZ077 and the ball cups.
If I use the first solution and we suppose that I want to use 2mm offset whells then I come back to the initial problem. Correct?
What do you suggest?
Thanks in advance
2mm offset wheels are pretty hard to come by. Another option might be longer turnbuckles:

I was told to never use the top row on the EVO rear bulkheads. If you want/need to use the outer/upper mounting location you will have to use a long grub screw or cut the stock link and trim the plastic ends. I typically run 3 degrees of camber in the rear and I can bearly get that on the lower/outer hole. I use the 007 universals and 0 offset wheels. If you try to use 0 offset wheels with the stock universals they will be short and very close the the edge of the outdrives on the diff and you will eventually have a problem with that.

I hope this helps.

I just wanted to "stop in" to this forum and say Hi. I will be driving this car for 2007. It will be some time while I learn this car and hopefully you guys will be able to help get me up to speed with the car. At some point soon I hope to be able to return the favor.

Thanks rmdhawaii. I have already gone through the knowledge base twice looking for info.

Hi,
If the upper row is not to be used then why they upgraded the bulkhead and they included this upper row? However, I have not seen any setup from Kyosho drivers that use the number 3 (upper/outer) hole.
As for the issue with the stock universals I think you are right.
Thanks a lot
