Isn't that the Kyosho SP Muffler Stay?

In ref to keeping up.. We had our race last night. The first race ran out of fuel, second too lean but the last two had the motor & car running sweet and won both races.. There was an Sirio evo STI and the OS was equally matched to it.. Easy.. So yes i believe it keeps up with the good motors... Easy

I'm using the OS Speed T1040 L52 pipe set, the stinger size is apparently 5.2mm

Default Throttle Servo Relocation

I noticed that the throttle servo was mounted above the radio plate. This put the servo way off the chassis. Not to my liking. I milled the chassis and placed the servo under the radio plate. Has anyone else tried this? Just wondering why Kyosho has it mounted so high. I had to modify the steering servo mount where it touched the throttle servo mounting hardware. So far I like the changes made to the Evo WC. Although I have not tried the stand up servo. It is also a good idea to make room for the clutch bell to come off without loosening the engine screws. If the milling looks rough, it is. I was experimenting with some new tooling. Needless to say, I did not like it, but the piece is fully functional. I think for my spare chassis I will use the expensive stuff again. I guess you get what you pay for.

Naturally if you have a shorter servo, you can put it underneath the top deck. But with the low CG top deck, most of the servo isn't going to fit underneath the top deck. Milling the chassis for the servo is an idea, used to do that to my MRX3.

For the clutch bell clearance on the chassis w/o loosing the mount, just a sanding drum, chuck it in a dremel... it's easy and sanding drum is easy to find anyway.

Here is the Evolva low CG chassis. This lets the throttle servo sit way down. This is the old tooling. Notice the difference. The surface here is smooth, just mill marks reflecting in the light.

Nice work there Will try to see what i can do with my v1rrr evo chassis and make the necessary modifications to make my servos sit lower or maybe just get a low profile servo if I get lazy
