Tony the brake pads are different on the Evo they are red & much more consistent on brake fading versu the black pads that come in the RRR WCE
there is some minor pro's & con's on the differences between the 2 cars on the brake systems

I was wondering... which of the brake pads do you guys use??? I have seen on a few online shops two different types:

-Kyosho V1RRR EVO Acre Brake Pad [KY-IFW324]
-Kyosho V1RRR EVO APP Brake Pad [KY-APP02-2]

Also... someone mentioned that the brake disk is not so good... What brand do you guys recommend???
I use K factory brake pads and brake disc.

K-Factory brake pads:

K-Factory brake disc:

I believe they are better than the kyosho ones.

I doubt it, but honestly I don't know as I have only run the evo wce. I do know that the shocks and springs with the evo are different. Obviously the laydown vs. standup throttle servo is different as well.

During testing for the nats, the Kyosho team ran similar lap times this year with both the EVO WC and Triple R WC. We also used very similar setups on both cars. In my opinion the Evo is easier to work on, which is a huge advantage if you need to change something quick. The Evo WC's top deck assembly also has less moving parts to worry about failing; not to mention setting up correctly.

Hope this helps.

When you are ready to get your car to the next level, check out some of the lightweight drivetrain parts that ybslowinc.com sells. Less rotating weight is a good thing.

The car is very durable. I would say the part that breaks the most on my car is the front upright.

Just in case, stock up on the parts that normally would break...arms, hinge pins, bumper brace...pretty much what you would stock up for your 415 kit.

The pads work on G4S, V1RRR AND V1RRR Evo, FW05RR and also on NT1. Possibly they work on MTX4 too. I use them in my V1RRR Evo and on my FW05RR.

About the disc I think you are confused.
The one that I use and works on the Evo is part # K1443, this one:

the one that don't work in the Evo but on regular V1RRR is this one, part # K1901:
