Ice_nl: Try checking you oneway bearing for the first gear. Also try to check if the tooths of the rear belt are still ok. I have had a similar problem before the I was able to run the car with no problems at slower speeds. And when the second gear kicks in, there is total loss of power since the rear belt is slipping already. Try also to check the set screw that holds the 21T pulley attached to the main shaft holding the 2 speed gears. It it's loose, this could also cause similar problems... Hope this helps

I'm back to racing my RRRs after rebuilding them. I had a bit of problem obtaining the Acer Bearings I'm using now, so they were laid up for longer than I expected. Boca gave me a full refund on my ceramics BTW.

Since my CRF is laid up until I fix it, I've been racing the STI. I've had some challenges getting it to accelerate as fast as my CRF on our track, but I think I figured it out. Looks like my gearing needs to be 15/60, 20/55!

So what's new with you? What engine you planning on running for the first race?
Nice to hear your back....same old just getting ready for the 07-08 year hopefully I can attend some more events this year.. for motors Murnan power..so whatever he tells me to run ill take his word for it because he is the man..just finishished winning a little local race that is put on every year with one of his 12+ modded motors..the man does great work.

Yo G!

ENS1 is the V-ONE RRR EVO WC conversion kit:
http://www.shopkyosho.com/product/pa...ber=ENS1/410.0

36502 is the standard RRR or RRR WCE to Evo conversion kit:

What is in the contents of ENS1?? Couldn't find anything online, but notice in the photo, it comes with a fuel tank!

From the looks of the picture on the ENS1, it looks like it is intended to convert the EVO to a Lola set-up... Just my 2 cents

gday fellas I just built my evo and I cant see what I have done wrong. Does anyone have problem with the front drive belt rubbing on the steering servo saver assy. Cant adjust the pulleys to give the belt clearance as they are fixed in position. Cant believe its designed like this , I ended up taking it out to run in etc and worn nice groove in the servo saver assy. Cant be right so any ideas. Thanks

Mine don't, have never had a problem.

Only thing I can think of is, on the servo saver holder where the 'screws go in' that hold the arms that go to the wheel hubs -- Are the screws you used too long and when you turn right it rubs on the belt ??

You're not the first person to wear a groove in your servo saver assembly.

I can't explain why, but this does happen to some people. The clearance between the belt and the assembly is pretty tight to begin with, so there are a number of possibilities. My guess is, belt drift on the pulleys themselves. Things I would recommend checking are side-to-side play in the front axle and ensuring that the belt tensioner settings (L/R) are the same.

Look on the bright side. Now that you've got that nice groove there, you don't have to worry about it anymore.
