I am wondering how you guys setup your two speed transmission? When is a good time for the second speed to kick in?

It really depends on the track you are running. Usually you set it up so that it will not kick into second gear when running in the short straights and in the turns. You want the second gear to kick in the long straight. I usually set mine at about 1/3 the length of longest straight in the track. Also, gearing comes in to play...

I just runed this car for the first time last sunday and Iloved it. The stock setup was spot on for my driveng style. I had enough grip in the back, and enough steering when I need it.

Hehe.. Thanks for pointing that out. I forgot that they changed the pulley.

It's only workable if you change the 2-speed shaft and use the standard plastic pulley and alloy brake hub.

Does anyone know if Kyosho makes an "SP-type" 387 tooth side belt? The only part number I could find for a 387 tooth belt versus the 384 tooth belt was VZ237. The description is DRIVE BELT 387 (RRR/FOR 24T PULLEY)

Thanks.

If I run across it I will post it but I don't see anything listed yet
