I own an RRR WCE and always have problems the clutch gears and spur gears, bassically they are very fragile, and everyone that I know that has the same car have the same problem, do u think this will be solved in the new RRR evo? And I also have a lot of problems with the shock absorbers, they leak a lot! ( I even tried to seal them with teflon tape with minor improvements), do u think is that why they redesign both? The pinions and the shocks? Maybe Kyosho knows something that we don't, don't get me wrong, I LOVE THIS CAR!! is incredibly fast and agile, but the pinions and the shock could be a lot better.

The new gears are made of the same materials as the Evolva. These are very strong! I have not stripped a gear since they changed to this new plastic & harder pinions! The shocks are now the same as the Evolva too, which has not been a problem for me either.

That's awesome! But what about the clutch pinions (the metallic ones), for some reason they always get kinda sharp on the edges and end up wasting the spur pinions, are they going to fix this also on the EVO?, i will upload pictures of some used ones I have so you guys can see what I mean.

The pinions on the evolva are new as well. They are a lot harder & dont go sharp like the previous ones use to. The RRR EVO uses this harder material pinions as well, although it is a different pitch to the evolva.

So elchoclo, dont worry, Kyosho have fixed this too. The gears last heaps longer than before in the evolva so I would say they would last even longer in the RRR EVO!

Got my Evo conversion kit and started to install it on my WCE. Becuase of the stand up design, the throttle servo is now seated about 3~4mm above the chassis.

The conversion kit comes with the top carbon plate, plastic parts, shocks, aluminum brake pully, new material spur gear 61/56 and new disk brake.
