This is going to be a great car, total update, new chassis, bulkheads!!! Pretty excited!!! Not a fan of the front shock mounts... but oh well!

Copied from Xray who has it from the Mugen MTC2 who has it from an old Corally car and does not add any performance.

All these pan cars are sooo similar these days - choosing the right brand these days really comes down local support & parts

They are similar, with some being designs taken from other brands... but although similar they have their nuances, and handle subtly different. Not a fan of the pillow ball mount to bulkhead for the shocks though. But thankfully they can be run like standard!

Out of interest, why don’t you like the pillow ball mount to bulkhead?

I'd imagine that although fine adjustment of shock angle is a nice feature of the horizontal direct mount design, the potential for sheering off the grub screw and having to replace the upper bulkhead in the event of breakage might be frequent and costly. Time will tell.
