Again I will have all of these in a section on my web site.

Its:

It will also show you info about the Florida State Series and our Club races in Port Charlotte.

Thanks again everyone for a wonderful time in Ohio. Gary and I are already talking about next year.

Hay Josh...........
Andy, I guess I owe you a dime. Glad your back, and congrats on the win.
Everyone that helped put this race together, thanks for yet another great race. It is so nice to go to a race and be just a racer! Hopefully this burn-out will end.
Stosh, thanks again for all of the help......
Dale, thanks for the paint jobs! I'll try not to destroy them too fast

Thanks again to Mr. Hammer (I already thanked you at the track) and to all those involved in putting on this event. It was my first time racing somewhere other than my local parking lot club track and I had a blast. I didn't want to leave. The track is simply incredible and to anyone considering going to this track for the first time, stop considering and just go. I don't have a single complaint and i'm a newb. Thanks again everyone and congrats to all the winners.

p.s. I love my trophy!

Default WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a great event!!! And this is coming from someone who drove up to Ohio, and did not get to race because the Toledo officials stuck to their guns. I have no regrets or hard feelings, and you guys ran a flawless event. I will be definitely sending in my registration alot sooner. I got to practice with some of the nations top drivers, and have fun at the same time. Ted, Roger, and anyone else involved, great job...

Anyone who has not made this event, better put it on their calendar from now. Paul Ciccarello (excuse my spelling) was fabulous with a Bone stock Mrx4. Proves that the kits now a days are great out of the box.

Jamie, Congrads...You have come a long way from the days of the Whitestone...LOL

Peace

which engine did you run during the event??
Salvadori,
Thanks...
I ran an OS TZ Carlsen modded engine in qualifying, and an OS TZ Speed in the main. I was real happy the way both engines ran.

What surprises me most about my short 3 weekends back in gas racing after 8 or 9 years, is how nice and helpful all the racers are to each other. Wow, was that a refreshing thing to see in this hobby. If I had a dime for every time I heard "Hey Josh......" I would not have had to sponge off him all weekend. Hopefully most of the racers recognized how much time Josh sacrificed at this race to help everyone else. I think he might have only made it out on the track once (if that) on Thursday to practice.
He didn't even have time to make changes to his car until after qualifying was over. I know he put more time in on my car then his own.
Thanks Stosh!
Thanks to everyone else who made it a fun weekend! My last weekend as a single guy........ I hope the ring fits my radio grip. LOL
So when will we see you on carpet again?!?!

CONGRATS on the win! It is great. I am jumping into the 1/8th scale scene with the Evolva. It should be interesting. See you soon hopefully at a carpet race.

Jeff

First; Paul hopefully we can get you into the GLC next year. Thanks for being so understanding.

David, very good suggestions. We will work on having enough marshall chairs on the track next year.

Unfortunately, the FM system we ordered in April did not show up until this week. The RAMS group was kind enough to lend us their FM unit, but we ran into issues with the correct inputs for the FM system. J-Lap worked fine with the FM, but the PA mike was another story. A boosted up PA along with the FM system will be in working order for next year. That should keep everyone in the loop.

A hundred or so photos from Sunday's activities were posted a few days ago on SGrid Online, and the equipment list has been updated based on emails racers sent me correcting what was on the "racer information sheet". The only thing yet to be posted, is an article on how to photograph tracks from a small airplane. I'll probably do that again in October at the Cincinnati Nationals.

There's also an image gallery of "chassis photos" of many of the better racer's car chassis.

I'm working on it! I need to figure out what sedan I'm going to run. I already have the 12th scale built. I've got 3 weeks to get my pit room (the new wife calls it a house) ready and the family moved in and then I can get back to the track. I'm only about an hour from CEFX. The owner is a pretty nice guy so I'll get plenty of practice. LOL

Right on.

I know a good carpet TC you could probably wheel. Unless the owner of CEFX persuades you otherwise. haha. Careful, he can be unruley.
