Yes, two very good - long days at the track this weekend. Great turn out for helping work at the track both days and now it is Monkey Screaming time, starting next weekend.

4/23; Test and Tune is $10 for both members and non members. 4/30 is the first club race. Then the rate is $10 for club members and $15 for non members to participate. You do need to be a ROAR member to use the Toledo - Woodville Mall track.

The Toledo track is about a 3 hour drive from the I-80/90 toll gate, outside Gary, IN.

Amazing number of entries have already come in for the GLC in one week.

Yes, entries will be limited to 16 mains. It appears that 16 mains is all we can run in one day and be done at a reasonable time.

It is not an issue to stay over night in a RV at the track. Note; there is no power or water hook ups available there. Flying J truck stop is 6 to 8 miles away for your other RV needs.

JHope,

Yes, I hope you have a good time and thanks for trying to make the race. It is amazing the number of entries that have come in already and we have not been on the track yet this year. Just a little prep work last weekend. Hope we will all get out this Sunday for a test and tune.

Pretty important:
Motel rooms are pretty tight. Make a room reservation soon and ask for a GLC room and room rate.

Holiday Inn Express (419) 691-8800
Sleep Inn (419) 679-7800

Both are nice new motels.

Ted,

How many entries do you have so far? I want to come but haven't got the approval yet.

Rick

BTW, I don't think you should let that Skipstr guy sign up, he's a weenie!

Some how we have 24 entries so far. The entry form has been out almost 2 weeks.

By the way, just a reminder a couple of racers signed up for 2 classes. Please only sign up for one class before the July 5th Deadline. After that, second entries will be taken.

The Skipstr's entry has not yet arrived. But I do believe he plans on attending. Something about showing off a hat or something.

JonnyS hope you can make it.

Hopefully there will be oval this year. There's nothing like watching a bunch of cars trying to kill each other turning left.
