Posted dimensions are 100x200.

For the Nats, Dana's plan WAS to have the guy who owns the Pallet stuff behind the pit area pull his stuff out for the weekend. . .that will make a HUGE area available (something like 2-3 times more space. . .)

Now, for parking? who knows. . .

yes Boomer, you're right about the dimensions. I still think closing off the parking lot is a better idea. Those are a lot lof pallets to move out! Geez, don't get me thinking about the parking. I'm all rattled up about it and I'm not even the one organizing it! I wonder what Dana is thinking about this. I can't imagine 200+ cars there. How about this: Racing4EVO's vallet parking service.

Post Layout

here are the two layouts of the track at Revelation. they are not 100% accurate but i think they are good enough if you just want an idea of what the track layout looks like.

hope summer come soon, like the "alternate" layout better

Just follow me, I'll show you the way

IIRC it is right above the "A" in pit _A_rea in the posted layout.

The finish line is at the Right end of the Drivers Stand (looking FROM the DS).

cool - thx again guys! But which one is it? There is a barrier between the right end of the driver's stand and the PIT AREA. Is it above the "A" or on the other side at the right end of the driver's stand?

The timing loop is right above the "A" in pit area.

Default Nobody is really thinking here

Guys;

You can almost bet that there will be a special track layout just for this race. Don't want to give any of the Local boys an advantage.
Parking is going to be a problem no matter what. Pit space may be OK if the pallets get moved.

Boomer;

You going to be at Rev this Saturday night? I may come with Gus G. and race this Sat.

Default Real Race G2 now has Revelation Track

Aiight guys, I was asking all these questions so I could start building a copy of Revelation track into Real Race G2 simulator. I don't know how many of you use it, but it's actually a pretty good little tool for practice.

However, the track design process is TEDIOUS, so I asked hank hagquist over at hobbytalk/teamrcv to give it a shot and he's just finished it!

You can download the track here

http://www.rrg2.com/

It seems like the center circles have too much elevation but hank says he made them that way to keep you from just hopping over them (if they are too low RR let's you jump them without upsetting the car enough to simulate real life).

Give it a whirl - hank did a nice job and the track is a blast to drive!

Thumbs up RRG2

oh yeah, if you're thinking about getting the RRG2. Hank has already done the joyce park track in ohio and i've asked him to do the alternate layout for revelation AND the ft. meyers track where the winternats is held.
