The pipe in the picture is a prototype with a false number. The Ninja pipe that will be out for sale is a 2053.

Thanks, Mike. Are you going to make it out to 301 RACEWAY in Maryland this spring / summer? The new track is killer!

Check it out. The finished product:

I wonder what Mike thinks of the Ninja engines compared to the JPs.

Thats hard to say. I have not tried the Ninja pipe on a JP engine. I know the Ninja pipe was designed around the Ninla engine.

The engines that I have tested are just a tick off of the engines I had for the Worlds. But the engines I ran at the Worlds were special engines and the Ninja engines that I have been racing are stock.

As part of Team Mugen Seiki, I would expect Mike to having nothing but positive comments about the new engine. I would also expect, that he wouldn't compare the Ninjas with other engines in an unfavorable light. It would be unrealistic to expect otherwise. (Honestly, with all the attention you're getting these days, I hope you were coached!)

From a corporate perspective, you guys have to remember that Team drivers are a corporate asset. Wins using the company's gear translates into more sales. Anything that is said, not said or said between the lines (Hint! Hint!) translates into a message to the company's customers or potential customers. If the wrong message comes accross, it will affect consumer confidence in the product.

Making a big assumption that all of the above is true, maybe Mike would consider giving us a mini-review of this stock, unmodified engine from a Team driver perspective - or maybe not. (A safe bet would be to run it by the marketing department first. )

If he wants to reserve comment, that's okay by me. The race results will speak for themselves.
