In Japan, the National 1/10 EP Mod(?) Sportsman race has been dominated by an 11yr old kid standing on a glass bottles basket.

I attended the Winternats and saw Art Carbonnel (probably in his 60´s already) and Vincent Jackson, who is only 14, making the A main in 1-10 sedan.

Big accomplishment no matter what.

I do not see why any age limits should be enforced.

How could Vincent get so good if not starting at an early age? I wish I could have had a car when I was your age. Go for it!!

Kids have good concentration when in that game mode....ever try to get them to get off. Hay...hay....helllooooo....heyyy....and there eyes are locked on the screen and there destroying every little minion on the screen with scary accuracy.

They have fast reflexes and they have that drive to win. Kids normally just push push push, nothing less. Changes in the car is like a sticky joystick to them, they adjust immediatly.

Old has finese , optimum driving lines , knowledge of the car physics , smoothness , and little race tricks that they can try if there not in first place. Try different driving to net better lap times.

Its what RC is all about everyone has something to bring to the table and can be equally fast on the track. Do what you do best, it all helps.

It is important, if you are the parent of one of these kids, or a track mentor, to teach them the proper track ettiquete.

I agree with everyone else, there should be no age limit at all. You're starting off with a nice car, too!
