The new WC pinions and WC spur gears cannot be mixed with the current pinions and spur gears.

To switch to the new WC gears and pinions, when they become available, with a minimum of parts you will need 1 each of the following.

803231 Centax-3 clutch housing wc
1311 5x8 bearing
1315 5x10 bearing
803232, 802233, 802234 or 803235, 16t to 18t 1st gear pinion wc
803236, 803237 or 803238, 21t to 23 23t 2nd gear pinion wc
803222, 803223, or 803224, 54t to 56t 2nd gear spur gear wc
803225, 802226, or 802227, 59t to 61t 1st gear spur gear wc

Default Homestead Set Up?

DJ, you were so fast at the Super Regional at Homestead RC Raceway that a lot of racers are asking for your set up for this track. Any chance you could share or direct the racers to a link for this info?

PS: Good luck at the 301 Capitol Classic!

3 delta peak is for those batteries are in top shape (like matched cells for EP cars) and is in its top condition. For your receiver packs, and especially if your pack has been sitting for awhile or so...start from 7 delta and keep going down.

From my understanding (correct me if I am wrong)...the older the pack, the higher # of delta peak so the charger can get a higher value to prevent faust peak...if your pack is a team match top of the line batteries, you use lower delta peak.

I set my whatever years old 750 mah AAA @ 5 delta peak all the time and use 1C charging (0.75 amps) Lower the better...usually run time is longer.

Thanks for the info. I will try it. I have one pack on my KO wall charger. But have a 2nd pack that I charge with the Ice charger.

At ss race way i use 17/22 61/56. a 23 is to long of a gear for that track. with the 22 56 you will have plenty on the str8 and enough get up through the end field.

Thanks for veifying that dude ... when I saw that it was missing in the original 720 sheet, I thought it was a mistake but now that even the updated one for the 720-08 is missing this I thought maybe I've been looking at too many setup sheets and my eyes are crossed! LOL!!!

Ah well, back to the notes area I guess.
