Default Serpent 720 front to rear drive ratio chart

I have a Microsoft Excel 720 front to rear drive ratio chart for the 720 that I will share. Contact 1-866-nitroRC or email [email protected] for the chart. This spreadsheet allows you to change the pulleys and see the effect that they have on the overdrive ratio.

Default Front diff?

I haven't been around for acouple of years. When I quit racing, one-ways were all the rage, especially on large flowy tracks. Were they just a trend? Has everyone switched back to gear diffs? I seem to remember gear diffs being popular during the Impulse era.

It depends heavily on the track and your driving style. Some tracks are very technical and requires a lot of late braking that the diffs are better. And some tracks are like you mentioned which are very flowing and the one-way seems to be the advantage. The nice thing about the Serpent 720 is that you can use either one and if you are getting the U.S. kit, the diffs (front and rear) and the front one-way (which can also be locked) are all included in the kit .

Ah, thanks for the clarification. Great to hear that Serpent is including both types with the kit!
