Tosolini
Front
front belt tight
Solid axle in front and I used dog bones that have been shortend to allow for the width to be less than 200mm.
1/2 deg toe out
2 deg camber
2mm shims outside steering link to lower and flatten link to reduce the bump steer
Swaybar 90deg
blue springs
45 Serpent Oil 3 hole
Shocks layed all the way down
2mm castor clips in front of arm
199mm width
middle roll center position
-2 droop measured on front upright
42 shore serpent jacos 57 qualifying 60 racing
7mm ride height measured with racing tires
Rear
rear belt med tight
3 toe in
blue springs
4 deg camber
2 hole 45 weight serpent oil
shocks layed down all the way
link in the lower position on the top of the upright
10k diff oil
roll center position 3 up from the bottom or middle high
+3 droop
swaybar on 1.5 mm in on the 2.5 mm bar
42 shore serpent jacos 58 qualifying 61 racing
8mm ride height measured with race tires
200mm wide

Standard bearings in car were really free with no grinding on the plastic to stop any sort of binding.. Car went together really good.

Proto Dodge stratus excellent for this setup and is what we used at the nats but Mazda 6 is easier to drive probably best for most drivers.

M11 with Spektrum Pro

If there is less traction run 40's or 38's. If car is traction rolling cut front tire width by 1mm at a time until it stops rolling.

If you have any questions please ask them here.

Paolo,

Thanks for posting the setups on this thread for all to see. I have been asked several times for the same information and now being on a thread everyone sees should help a lot of racers!

I found some parts of these setup's interesting and very useful as I am sure others will as well.

Thanks !

I thought the bumper was very narrow but really hasn't proved an issue yet. Was has been an issue is the fragile nature on the bottom bumper mount, Julius says it's the same design as the 710 but now made with stronger material.

Maybe I have been unlucky to break a couple but what I did was get the Lola bumper plate and use a sander to shape it to 2mm back from the front of the foam. This gives much more material and the entire plate is thicker than the standard.

Default German Nationals

Just a quick message to let you guys know that Michael Salven won the German Nationals today. The weather was very mixed, with rain in the mid-phase. After it dried out Salven took the race in a very commanding manner in all the weather conditions.
Second place also went to a 720 in the hands of team driver Ralf Krause.

Cheers, Mark.
