Default serpent 720

thankyou so much guys, realli appreciate yr comments, i am using DJ setting at the moment, seems to be working, but i have yet to push the car reali hard. I realli love 720, if fact i think the 720 is even lighter than 733. jus wondering which is a faster car with same driver and same engine??? since 720 with LCG chassis will be realli light in weight...

My 720 is lighter than my 733. It has crossed my mind to sell the 720 but I just have so many spares and optionals I could keep it running for years and years. And I don't think I'll get my investment back since there's new cars on the market. I'm to the point that I can push it hard and feel confortable with it but the 733 is just way easier to work on.

I'll take some good pics of the 720 and post them here. I'm just glad to know I'm not the only one still running it.

The 720 was a good car and will be just fine whenever you decide to push it. If you need any help just ask.

Thanks DJ, for a track like this, is it better to have a softer spring behind?? I like to throttle to turn in.

A track like what? I always like my 720 with a harder spring in the front and softer in the rear. usually a 2 step difference. Sometimes a 3 step. I mainly ran yellows in the rear and bounced back and forth between blue and purple fronts. Used a locked front end and 30,000 to 50,000 in the diff. For lower bite use lower rear diff oil, as low as 10,000 for really loose tracks.

Its a whole different car. And handles completely different.

The chassis is where you want all the weight to be at. So your LCG is doing harm and good. Its good because everything is lower, but its bad because its light at the lowest point of your car. I always used the front brass brace and the brass battery brace to compensate for this chassis.

You won't regret getting the 733. I'm sure you'll like it more than your 720
