Anyone can give me his opinion on using the new CVD’s on the rear.
In my last race I broke an all version CVD on the rear, without any crash. Are the dog bones the way to go?????

You must have gotten the old first generation batch of CVD's. They were used for the 710 as well and would not take good beating.

The second generation CVD's are much stronger. The part number didn't change but you may find the "newer" ones not shiny like the older ones.

The part number for the new CVD Pro shaft is 803241, they don't break like the old 802351.

Funny how the packaging on mine had the same part numbers, maybe because I bought it from Kamikaze.. just kidding I didn't.

Anyway, yeah, the way to go is the "newer" set of CVD's. I say "newer" because it's not really new as they came out a good year and half or so ago.

These are the new PRO CVD's, they are so strong it won't break as easy as the black colored ones.

The 09' 960 will change a little on the rear end (that is what I was told) also the shock towers will be the latest ones, there won't be anymore 08's so might as well anticipate the 09's

You will see some changes for the 720 09'. Serpent is also working on an all new car that is going to take the sedan market by storm. Based on some of the cad images I have seen and the ideas that are being worked on by the engineers, I think Serpent will be taking back some of the sedan market they have lost. The nice thing is they realize and are listening to the typical buyer more on this project and I think people will be happy. As for when the new car will be out. I am not sure. Not by the 09 sedan Nats., IMO.

Dj are you talking about the new 720 09 as the new sedan that will take the market by storm?
