Default setup

i have shortened the front of the rear arms by 2mm, and use a 2mm caster clip on the rear of the arm so it is adjustable fairly quickly.

this setup i TQd , but had problems with the CV for the final. a fastest lap , and of the day 16.78 and average lap of 17.2 over 5 mins. very easy and consistent car to drive. hope some of you try it out, and let me know if it works for you. thanks.
thanks to Dimitris for helping me get a pdf print to file.

Use a dremel with a sanding drum and sand down either the manifold or the graphite stiffener plate.

Riketsu,

I had the same problem with a 41617/41616 Novarossi header and the 353 motor. To solve the problem I used a Dremel to grind about a mm or two off the belt tensioner carbon fiber plate (around the header area); just enough to avoid header/tensioner plate contact. The mod is working fine for me (it did not weakened the belt tensioner plate). I hope this helps.

Thanks Erchur... I was a little afraid of doing it, but after you said it, I went ahead and grinded the header and the plate.... Came out perfectly, now there is a gap of about 1mm atleast between header and plate... Thanks again...

+1 on the dremel.. I would personally go with dremelling the graphite stiffener. Just don't forget to seal the edges of the graphite with CA glue again (not only for looks but for longevity also).

Hey Sam I may be crazy but not as crazy as you .

Hey guys I just got my hands on a 720 '07 I think. Any tips on things I should look out for. Weak spots of the car or setup tips. I've ran mainly Mugens for the last 7 years so Serpent is a new world for me.

Thanks

The weakest link I have seen on the 720 so far is that arm links... I'd probably after tomorrow's race, will switch em for some Kyosho's or Mugen's... Much much stronger... Other than that, car is pretty strong as the competition...
