Nigel is using the SPP race brake pads, it has a better and more consistent braking specially on long mains, meaning it does dissipate the heat better.

could you use a bit of J&b weld?

Thanks Jason

I use the same, but I guess I am rough on them. I need more, as I get brake fade. Hoping someone as tried something different. I know most people do not have brake fade with those pads, but I am too hard on the brakes. Not sure why, but I am.

Well coming down to a slow roll from Mach 10 could be one reason.

Default new springs

dj and paolo morganti,

Are you guys using the new springs? what is the best spring setup to use at 301 maryland if you are using the new springs? (front and rear) Is purple front L23 and Red L27 a good setup up for 301? I use the long shocks for the rear. ty in advance!!

That will work when the grip is high!! Seems like the old spring are a little softer than there rating so you may end up having to go down one step from the new purple front and red rear!!

I just picked up a 720. I'm going to be racing at 301. I setup front #1 35 w/ purple springs rear #2 35 w/ yellow springs. I'm just getting ready to start breaking in the engine. Hope to be out next week for some practice.
What would be a good gearing for 301? I'm running a JL red dot evo3.

Start with the new blue up front one position up from the bottom and new reds in the rear also one up from the bottom. Front sway bar soft.
