I'm using my 710 with 21t mid-side pulley and 3mm split. So my front tires wears almost same with my rear tires. In 720, the 2sp side pulley is 21 (or am I wrong?), and my question: Will serpent make 20t pulley for mid-side pulley? Is the new side belt and the rear belt different from 710?

Normally with my 710 i was always using 1.5mm split (so less than 1 overdrive) and was always really good for me.

With the 720, to have 1 overdrive you need to use 0.5mm difference (i plan to use 1mm) No 20t plan at the moment. All the belts are the same. All the pulley are the same but 2 speed lshaft pulley (21t) and rear gear diff (47t)

You don't need a 20t. The stock 720 mid-side pulley is 22t. So running a 21 at the mid side pulleygives you the possbility of running a 3mm splt again.

The rear drive is 24/47
the front is 21/22 and 19/35 2sp/mid side mid inner/ front
We did this to make the final drive a little shorter than the 710 to make the car better suited to small tracks.

We started out with 30/20k rear and 50k front. But harder up front (100k)seems to work really well at Heemstede.

So which brand of 100k was the team using? And when you went with the 100k did you stay with the 30k rear or go to the 50k?

Until we bring our own 100K I've used Mugen. And still with 30k in the rear.

two questions for the serpent guys:

1- the new car will really be available on the begining of july?
2- is it true that the serpent starter box 1400G is discontinued? A new starter box will be launched with th new car?

best regards

Eduardo
