DJ,

You know I do not drive a Serpent. But I think its great that you are willing to help out the drivers like me who have troubles with car setup.

These just show how valuable you are in the industry. Helping out whenever you can, at the track and online donating your time and knowledge. You show how to be a "real" team driver and you deserve to be one I'm sure all your sponsors are very happy to have you. A very good example! Thanks for all the help.

Anytime, thanks for the kind words. See you guys at the best track in the US Dec. 8 K-RACEWAY. Chris, it will be good to see you guys. What class are you running. Also Vincent, Jaime and others. Maybe I should run 1/8 for that race. I might start soon, not sure. Need to get motor first before I can run 1/8.

Hopefully you guys can educate a "rook" like myself on the following:

1. gearing - How do you determine which set of gears should be used for a
particular track ? Is there a standard combo that will do well for
most medium to large tracks ?

2. 2nd gear shift - Is it better for the clutch to shift early or late ? Ideally,
at what point lets say at the straights would you like the
gear shift to occur ?

Thanks.
