Does anyone have this issue? How can I fix it? Is it possible to remove the seal from the previous tank and install it on the new tank cap?

thanks and regards

Eduardo
..i had the same issues in my 960, went back to the foam seal.............no further problems...........you should be able to remove the lid and use it on the new tank......may need new star clips after removing lid.........

The problem with my tank is the rear of the lid is higher than the front. Is there a fix for this or just the holes for lid hinge pin were miss drilled? Switched to the foam seal lid tank, no problems. Just had to retune engine

i too had the same problem when i first ran the car....but now no more leakign out from the lid( didn't change anything, maybe the o ring are now seated properly into the lid after few tanks opening and closing the lid )....but still some smoke can be seen coming out. i think something to do with the O-ring.

Yes the new chassis Low Cg does make a difference, just keep in mind that it will break easier in an head on impact. As for difference the car rotates a little better.

About a month ago i have seen some new prototype fuelkap rings
