hi guys;

I've just instaled the new afl tank on my 720 but it leaks a lot. It is the first thing that I bought from serpent that is realy two thumbs down .I haven't had this issue on the previous tank.

Does anyone have this issue? How can I fix it? Is it possible to remove the seal from the previous tank and install it on the new tank cap?

thanks and regards

You can still use the old style foam seal. They still sell them from serpent. I personnally do not ue the new afl seal.

Before using the new tank with the O-Ring seal, you should let the Lid with the O-Ring seat in the tank overnight, that way the neck of the tank will conform to the new O-Ring, we never have problem by doing this procedure

The stock point is not tight enough. It is most likely shifting immediately. tighten it one full turn on both sides and check it. Then start backing it off little at a time till you have it the way you want it.

Hi Guys

I had the same problem with the AFL lid at first. Problem was that the lid did not close properly. Then I used a screwdriver and pushed the entire mechanism closer to the lid and now it closes properly. Since then, no problem...

Sluggish cuz it is in second gear. Have to adjust the 2sd. Turn the 2sd shoes 2 screws a 8th turn til it shifts. The 2 screws you turn are the 2 that has spring or 2mm allens. Adjustment of pre-asemble is very loose, It stay in second gear. Just take your time in adjustment. Once you get it, Have fun Racing.

For any of you traveling to the Kissimmee race this weekend, good luck and safe travels. I will be there on Friday and will help anyone in need. Just come look for me and if I am not busy I will lend a hand. The track is a flowing track with good traction and low tire wear. See ya there!!!!!
