Um the rc-exclusive.com site doesn't have the exact stuff like on the serpent web site. The part numbers vary slightly.

I don't know what motor mounts fit what engine. Like does any mount work on any engine? Just say that I have a Mega ZX .12 engine. What motor mount do I need? rc-exclusive.com sells 2 of them #802552 and #802553. Which one do I need for a Navorrossi engine?

About mufflers, what muffler works on what engine? Do all 2,11ccm engines use the same manifold and pipe? I know that the Mega ZX and MF have thier own mounts, but what about a Navorrossi or a Mega SP?

Do I also need a starter box or is it possible to put a pull starter on an engine cause a starter is about 60+ euros.

Now about the car, how fast is it stock with a moderate engine such as a Mega SP? Does it do close too 100kmh?

please help me
luismx123
Buy the 720, the 710 is an old model car that soon the parts for it might not exist anymore, and regarding the motor mount, you don't have to worry about it because it comes with one when you buy the 720 kit, and yes you need to buy a starter box, pull starter will not work with either a 710 or a 720, touring cars can go as fast as 55 to 60 mph or 80 kmh.

Hi

They used to be the oficial dealers. Call Gehard and check it out. The border is also a good online shop in Europe.

The 720 is a better car over all. The 720 has more steering and is stronger than the 710, just make sure to try and use the larger bumper. The stock car comes with a front diff. Use the default set and go from there on fine tuning. If there are people in your area that have a 720 maybe you can get help from them. If you have trouble you can ask here or PM me. Just remember to give as much info as you can when asking for help. Example is track conditions troubles you are having and you set up.

Hi,

Is the stock motor mount made for Mega type engines?

And I have a general tuning question: What muffler is the best? Now what I mean by this is like is the larger the better because I would think that using a large exhaust muffler would create less pressure which would slow the engines rpms down(you understand).

Thanks
luismx123

ps... I'm getting a 710 not a 720........(cheaper and many racers I know own one)

The stock motormount will fit any engine. The pipe you use will really be determined by the engine you use and also the size of the track your running on. You can get a Mega ZX-12 package that comes with the pipe for a good price.

You really should consider getting the 720, just my opinion. You'll be happier with it.

Most companys sell a pipe set for their motor that you buy. You can use others but I have found the one they sell for their pipe always works good. Some of the pipes are the same with just different names on them. You would have to ask around. Hope I did not confuse you.

You can use the Skyline VR 12 Plus which a lot of racers consider it as one of the best all around pipe set.

Hey,

I'm moving to Austria next year and I'll be ordering from www.rc-car-exklusive.com. The 720 costs $450 euros and the engine and mufler is like $260+ euros. The Ready Set 710, comes with Mega Sp engine with muffler, Body and costs only $450+ euros.
I endup saving about $260+ euros, which I could later spend on a better engine.

Could one of you advise me on something. On the website I said before, there are a variety of different motors. The Mega ZX is good or so I heared, but there are so many versions of it. e.g:
-.12 3P Mega ZX12 DSII+Race MS,
-.12 3P Mega ZX12 DSII+Race MS Powerpack,
-.12 3P Mega ZX12 DSII+Race MS E-Mo,
-.12 3P Mega ZX12 DSII+Race MS Powerpack E-Mo,
-.12 3P Mega ZX12 SPEED
Can a few of you tell me whats what please because I have no clue whats good, fast, cheap, and reliable. I have no clue what comes with what and so on so please help me out if you know what it is.
This may sway my decision to buying a 720 if its convinient.

Please help me
