When running the CVD's up front do you need to sand them down any? Also, I can't seem to get my shocks to seal correctly, do you guys have any tips that might help me??? I think I might be overtightening them.......I have purchased the alloy inserts so maybe this might help....

Remember though that anything can happen at the track so always have extra spur gears, arms front and rear on hand... .02

If you leave your front end stock, you will blow through front arms and knuckles if you take a hard hit on something... Use the lola front bumper plate and the extra wide foam bumper pad, your front end should be pretty much set and bullet proof... The rear end lower arms I was told are being updated by Serpent... as the 2006 batch were alittle weak. If you take a rear end hit from another car, those are the first to go... Sooooooo... Never race or practice with bad driver's that are looking to take your car out.. and if you're on the track that is full of 1/8 scale hackers... Wise thing is to pull your car off the track. .02 And no, not all 1/8th scale drivers are hackers... Just those that can't drive yet and can't handle the speed... Amen

For anyone running the Universals- you can get just the "bones" from Serpent for these, makes them a little cheaper to replace, part#802351... I would also recommend in your spare parts, to have the rear lower hinge pins, and the roll center inserts for the rear, they tend to get bent, or lost in a crash, cheap to stock one or two....

Someone gave you some bad info. Mine has lasted for months. I just change it periodically. However, you do have to have your clutch set up correctly and do the preventive maintenance (cleaning and greasing) to keep it working properly.

Default debut race

hi guys, just giving a preliminary review on my 1st race with the 720

with only 2 tanks of runtime wit d 720 in a different tracki went to this club race in another district wihout proper preparation and all those things u usually do b4 goin to races, .( coz it was a last minute decisionwhat the heck..just as long i got to raceeven didn't have time to put in my front Uni.) so making this story short , i qualified 5th overallduring the final i finish 9thtwice my glowplug blew on me...
- finals 1st 10 minutes with not a perfect setup it was sensational driving... i was running new tyres rear and 63mm tyres front....with 7.5mm rear ride height and 6mm front.
>>one more thing the track was using black pipes as the curbs...with few minor hits here and there, the car is still in one piece...the dogbone was also intact.

so for the next race in a few weeks, and with better preparation hopefully i can improved a lot.
