No aluminum pinion will last forever ... so you'll need to change them after some time.

You can get steel pinions, I got mine from http://www.serpent-uk.com/ but I don't know if they make them any more ... ever since they released the new website I can't seem to find anything.

thanks! are there still pictures or info about the steel pinions on that site? couldnt seem to find anything.

the weird thing is the kit is only a few races old, just seems that the pinions are wearing faster than normal and I cant find anything else aside from the aluminum pinions.

Just a thought about your wear on the pinions. If you run the gear mesh to tight it will also prematurely wear the gears. I also think gears will not last for 6 races on any car. You should get maybe two long race weekends on a set of gears. (fri,sat,sun).. Obviously if they are one day races you could probably get 4-5 weekends.. Serpent has the best gears and wear in the industry...

I'm afraid they don't have pics any more. I do have a spare set so if you want to buy it, PM me.

I like running as much Ackerman as possible. It’s a pretty easy change to make so play around with it to see what you like better.
What about the inner and outer holes?

Ah, good to hear that many in M'sia are driving the 720!

As for the two cars, they are both very close out of the box but have different advantages and disadvantages. In my opinion, the 720 is more versatile if you race on a variety of tracks.
