I ran hard tires and reserved them in the race. Started with 61.5 in the rear. pushed for first 15 minutes and then reserved for the end.

DJ ~ Was this your first time running the MF? How does the MF compare to the ZX?

This was my second time. I ran it also at the region 4 race. The MF is less aggressive on the bottom. The ZX12 has more bottom and rips out of the corners. The MF is easier to drive and the power band is more linear. They are both good motors and depending on the track can have an advantage.

Hi DJ...i just read your report online...and noticed you had the same problem with various motors.......was the problem the gas tank?(the oring set up that some people are having problems with),.that would effect all the motors you ran?....

thanks

I don't think there is anything to do with the gas tank, he mentioned that it run well after figuring out the shimming of the engine.

Many people were having run time issues this weekend due to the fact that it was a large flowing track. This may have been the case with DJ as well.

No tank issue. I was a coincidence that the shimming was wrong on both motors. Once that was fixed I was good.
