I actually reem out a little of the material on the plastic parts. Not too much, just enough to get it free moving.

That should be it.

Because the position of the side pulley on the 2speed shaft changed a bit from the 710 to the 720.
And I do not have a 710 here so I can't check. You might have no problem but I am just not sure.

I used my 710 shaft in the 720, needed to dremel a bit.. not that much but there was loads of play if i didn't.....
You just need a little flat surface to mount the screw, nothing special

I have a question for you guys...

would you say the 720 can be run on a variety of tracks without major tuning changes....now,I'm not saying I want to go from a pro treated track to a parking lot track......more along the lines untreated parking lot tracks...does the car have a wide sweet spot, where with little more than tire shore changes, with a standard set up,the car would run pretty much the same every time?..

I appreciate the kind words everyone. Thank you.

It takes quite a bit of time, effort and motivation to whip these together. If I don't spend every waking moment working on it - it never gets done (kind of like my engine KB site ). I hope that people will find the site useful. It's geared more toward the new nitro racer, but that is where I think it has the most potential for providing benefit - just like with the RRR and MTX-4 sites.

If you would like to contribute something to the site - even if it seems pretty basic, please let me know. Every little piece of info helps people get that much smarter.

Hey Harry!
I have a 720 and I think that it is a good all around car. I broke mine in on the street. The set up is better than that of the 710 and I think its a stronger built chassis and suspension as compared to the 710. You will see mine out there on the track this year. I'm in the process of selling off my R40 and getting another 720. Also I will be at 301 this weekend to really put this thing through it's paces. So far, it feels like a smaller 960. I think it is a very solid car.
